How it worksConversion re-encodes pixels: EXIF metadata and color profiles are not carried over, EXIF rotation is applied, and animated GIF, WebP, and AVIF inputs keep only their first frame (flagged on the result). Files are checked by their actual bytes, not just the extension. A corrupt or mislabeled file fails its row without killing the batch.
