# Touch and Multi-Touch test

Touch the screen with one or more fingers to check that touch works everywhere.
touch, drag, and multi-touch inside the zone. Pointer events only

Touch, drag, or press here with fingers or a pen. Every pointer event the browser reports appears below, exactly as received.

- Events are captured only inside the test zone; nothing listens outside it. Nothing is recorded beyond this page's memory; leaving clears the table.
- Peak simultaneous contacts counts distinct pointer ids between a down and its matching up/cancel. The OS may fuse touches before the browser sees them; the number is what the page received, which can be lower than fingers on glass.
- Pressure, tilt, width/height, and twist are what the POINTER reports. Many touchscreens and all mice report pressure 0.5 on down / 0 on up, width/height 1; a constant is a device fact, not a bug.
